Ota Fine Arts Singapore is delighted to present “Yayoi Kusama: Prints”, a solo exhibition featuring a range of prints created between 2011 and 2012. In these series of prints, Yayoi Kusama (b. 1929) repeats motifs of eyes, women’s profiles and dotted organisms. The exuberant images derived from this repetition, clear colours and doubtless lines have a humorous sensibility which makes a strong impact on the viewer. Renowned for the use of repetitive and accumulative motifs, this distinct style is also reflected in her other works, which spans paintings, sculptures, installations and other artistic fields. Yayoi Kusama continuously evolves and accelerates her instantly recognisable style. Her attitude of vigorously creating new works captures the hearts of people around the world. Ota Fine Arts Singapore welcomes you into the fascinating realm of Yayoi Kusama.
